Mu Mu Pi: The National Fraternity of Marching Saxophones
Conceived during a full moon over Benton Harbor, born out of the smoldering ashes of a canoe paddle, and immortalized by a notorious ransom paid in "surplus beef patty", is Mu Mu Pi, the national fraternity of marching saxophonists.
Founded in 1977 on the shores of Picnic Point, Mu Mu Pi has since established a tradition of pushing the Wisconsin Band experience to its limits, performing with greater intensity, enthusiasm, and sometimes, exaggeration. Off the field, the fellowship and camaraderie is supplemented by the weekly Pi Lunch, regular "social gatherings", and other extra-curricular activities...
